UGANDA : Sharing meet Power in NBL

Power’s Fahmy Ssebatindira firmly grips the ball against Warriors.
Sharing Youth have started the Airtel National Basketball League (NBL) season with a 0-5 run. That though has largely been down to a difficult run of fixtures that have included games against giants Falcons, KIU Titans, Warriors, City Oilers and UCU Canons.
And the trend is set to continue this evening at YMCA when Sharing come up against another side that should be challenging for this year’s title in Tiger Head Power.
Coach Robert Mugabe’s Power though, not entirely convincing in their previous game, got a 79-64 win over Warriors.
Sudi Ulanga and Joseph Ikong, who scored 21 and 14 points in that game are averaging 18.6 and 14.3 for Power who hold a 3-1 record so far.
Sharing on the other hand lost 73-47 to UCU Canons in their last game and seem to be struggling offensively with only Emmanuel Okumu averaging more than 10 points in four of their five games this season.
