KEENYA : Natalie linked with KPA Move

Eagle Wings’ Natalie Akinyi has been linked with a likely move to reigning basketball champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). If successful in her move, Natalie will become the third dependable player to leave the former national champions, Eagle Wings, after the departure of other key players Samba Mjomba who has joined newly formed lower division side Equity Bank and Velma who is headed o Kampala to join UCU.
KPA Coach Anthony Ojukwu when reached for comments however said the deal is yet to be concluded but confirmed having expressed interest in signing the player.
“Yes it is true there are talks but we are yet to make it official and there is nothing concrete so far. Perhaps we will have a clear picture by the end of Saturday.” He said.
KPA is also said to be eyeing another player from NYTA Shimba Hills though this is also yet to be made official.
