NIGERIA : Milo Basketball - Adamawa, Katsina for Final

The stage is set for the final of the Confluence Conference of the 2013 Nestle Milo Basketball championship holding at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, KogiState.
The final which comes up Tuesday will see AdamawaState taking on Katsina in the Boys category while Zamfara and Kano will fight for honours in the Girls category.
In the semi final matches decided yesterday, Adamawa Boys sent out hosts, Kogi Boys by a marginal one point victory as their highly contested, tension-soaked encounter ended 33-32 in favour of Adamawa.
The victors defied the massive support enjoyed by the home side from the spectators that included the Chief Judge of KogiState, Justice Nasiru Ajana to achieve their feat.
In the other semi final, Katsina Boys out dunked their BornoState counterparts to qualify for the final. Katsina won the tie by 53 to 50 points.
In the Girls category, Kano stole the show in their contest with Adamawa, beating them 12 - 8 to set up a mouth-watering final against free-scoring Zamfara State Girls who defeated Katsina 24 - 4.
Meanwhile, the losers' final will be coming up today as Kogi Boys take on their Adamawa counterparts while Katsina and Adamawa slug it out in the girls category.
