KENYA : Kenya national basketball teams named

36 players have been called up to the national basketball team for the men and women teams respectively. The players are expected to commence training on January 5th in preparation for the forthcoming Zone 5 African Cup of Nation’s qualifies that will be held in Tanzania next month.
Among the players called in include the 2012 KBF Most Valuable players in both the men and women categories Okwako Bob of Cooperative Bank and Hilda Indasi of USIU.
The men’s team will be coached by Francis Ngunjiri and Peter Kiganya with George Odhiambo serving as Team Manager.
The women’s team will be coached by Ronnie Owino, Philip Onyango and Nelly Oluoch will be Team Manager.
