In the lower division, Nairobi Aviation College rocked World Hope 70-59 while Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) recovered to beat Trailblazers 63-54. Barclays Bank won 48-39 against Baraka Xtreme in the Nairobi Basketball Association league at Railways Club. Timo Otieno made 14 for winners. Marvin Otieno had the losers 11. Alvin Ali nailed 11 that included two buzzer beating treys in the third and fourth quarters to pep Old Pirates to a 57-42 triumph over Multi Media University. Strathmore University hit Legacy 59-45 and KU Pirates whipped Friends of Basketball 63-43.
