EGYPT : Superleague Round 10: Gezira beats Somouha by 2 after a very close game

The First Round of the Regular Season in Superleague is over.
Round 10 closest game was a victory of Gezira (#3) over their biggest opponent Somouha (#2). Gezira managed to escape with 2-point win 82-80 ending at the same time the two-game winning streak of Somouha. Gezira has a solid three-game winning streak. They jumped to the second spot in group B. They share the position with defeated Somouha.
Another interesting game was also a derby match between two teams from Cairo: Shorta-Police (#5) and Gasco (#3). Shorta-Police (3-7) smashed visiting Gasco (5-5) by 18 points 69-51. Shorta-Police did not change their fifth position in the standings in group A. Gasco keeps the third place.
An interesting game was also a derby match between two local teams from Alexandria: Al Ittihad (#1) and Sporting (#4). Sporting was defeated at home 77-90 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help ending at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sporting. Al Ittihad (9-1) of course still keeps top position in the standings in group A. Sporting stays at the fourth place with 4-6 record.
We should definitely mention a derby match between two teams from Cairo: Ahly (#1) and Shams (#6). Shams was smashed at home by 50 points 35-85 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Ahly (8-2) of course still keeps top position in the standings in group B. Shams added fourth loss in a row to their record. They dropped to the fifth place with 2-8 record.

In the last two games of round 10
In Group A Zamalek smashed Al Dhan on the road 91-60.
In Group B Geish Army was destroyed by Al-Intaj on it's own court 44-80.
