ANGOLA : Inter Club 2007

Interclube, third placed in the last season, strengthened its squad with the inclusion of six new players and a technical team with an assistant coach to improve their standings in the national senior males basketball tournament, ANGOP learnt from an official source.

Wingers José Nascimento, Armando Tchipongue and base Lifetu Selengue, from the Sports Club of Agostinho Neto University (CDUA), will represent Inter during the present season, joining the base João Neto (ex-1º de Agosto), play makers Simão Panzo (ex-Petro de Luanda) and Adilson Câmara (ex-Nocal Sports Group).

On the other hand, the former national coach of the senior ladies team, Apolinário Paquete was contracted to assist main coach Manuel de Sousa "Necas" in replacement to Hermenegildo Lopes.

Speaking to ANGOP, Necas informed that the new players might take advantage of the experience they acquired to help Interclube to improve the third place achieved in 2006.
