DEFENDING champions Nkumba University Marines will be all out to get a win when they face Sadolin Power this afternoon at the YMCA courts in Wandegeya.Warriors and Falcons have already made the play-offs while Marines and Power need two points (1 win) to progress. Falcons lead the Yellow Max Conference table with 31 points, Warriors are second with 29 while Marines and Power occupy third and fourth positions respectively with 28 points apiece. Losses for Marines and Power today will help Charging Rhino stay in contention for a play-off berth.

The Rhinos are fifth on the table with 26 points and take on Marines on Wednesday. However, if Marines and Power register wins, Rhinos will miss the play-offs for the second consecutive season.

Fresh from hitting a season-high 44 points against KIU on Wednesday MVP Norman Blick will lead Marines, while Warriors will look up to Stephen Okias.

Power will also welcome back Kenyan import Michael Kariuki but will be without their inspirational captain Marvin Keronga who left the country for further studies and Ken Balyejusa, still nursing an injury.

In the women's category reigning champions A-1 Challenge must also register a win to avoid meeting table leaders KCC Leopards in the play-offs. A-1, currently fourth on the table can avoid a clash with KCC Leopards by winning their two remaining games and pray that second-placed Lady Bucks and third-placed KIU Rangers falter some where along the way.
