UGANDA: Rhinos Face Stone

Yello Max side Charging Rhinos return to the courts today against Livingstone in an MTN League game at YMCA Courts. Fresh from the 57-55 win over Kyambogo Warriors last weekend, the 1997 league champions will be all out for maximum points.

Rhinos had a disastrous season last year and failed to reach the play offs, but they have won two of their three previous outings. On form Mande Juruni will lead the side and the return of Diego Angiemi adds more colour to the side.

In the women's league, Crane High School takes on Makerere Cubs in what is expected to be an entertaining encounter. Burundi imports Florence Kalume and Kantungeko Nalusa, together with Immaculate Chocho will lead the high school girls.

Nabisunsa Girls also play neighbours Kyambogo Comets in the other hot game. Both Nabisunsa and Crane High will use the league games as final tune up for the National Schools' Basketball Championships which tip off next weekend at Ndejje SS.

Meanwhile, national champions Nkumba Marines fell 49-88 to defending champions Kenya Commercial Bank Lions in the regional basketball tournament raging in Nairobi, Kenya.
